The Goals of ReCAST BR
During a February 2018 meeting of the ReCAST BR coalition, stakeholders brainstormed about what Baton Rouge should look like in the next 3-5 years. Accordingly, we have worked together to define our individual and collective efforts toward the following goals:
-
Address the impact of multi-layered trauma brought on by the events of 2016, particularly, the shooting of Alton Sterling, the police ambush and the August flood.
LEARN HOW
-
Increase equitable access for youth and their families to trauma-informed behavioral health and related resources and services.
LEARN HOW

Promote resilience and equity by implementing evidence-based youth violence prevention and community activities that benefit vulnerable youth and their families.
LEARN HOW
