GOAL: Address the impact of multi-layered trauma brought on by the events of 2016, particularly, the shooting of Alton Sterling, the police ambush and the August flood.

Objectives:

1. Bring awareness to what trauma is; and, how it has impacted Baton Rouge families and the community.

2. Increase intergenerational understanding of the experiences of related to the events of 2016.

3. Affect change in the norms that negatively impact the community, such as its view of itself, the police and other races.
