Mission

​The mission of the Family and Youth Service Center (FYSC) is to identify children who have exhibited truant tendencies, assess the causal problems for those tendencies, and provide access to services for children and their families to eliminate causal problems.

All Programs

Offers anger management, conflict resolution, and substance abuse to youth in a support group format.

Support group offering information and support to parents.

Provides ​graduate equivalency diploma classes (G.E.D./HiSET) and workforce training.

Providing tutoring and skills based education.

Activities within this program include: My Life (2nd and 4th Thursdays), My Brother's Keeper Activities, Summer Youth Employment Program, Community Events, and Baton Rouge Youth Leadership Counsel.
