All Programs
The Dialogue series features two-hour, weekly gatherings that is limited to 15 participants. The sessions are led by trained facilitators. Participants prepare for the discussions by reading short articles before each session. DORLA offers an "Advanced Series" and well as an "Advanced Beyond Series" for alumni of the "Original Series" programming. These advanced programs are designed to enhance participants’ understanding of race, communication and intelligent action when confronted with racial issues.
The Featured Topic Dialogue focuses on current race issues. DOR alumni and guests use this safe space to conduct meaningful conversation and debates about challenging rhetoric.
This facilitator-led conversation is held in a coffee house for those with concerns about race. This one and a half hours long gathering prompts honest conversation in a casual, shared space.
Dialogue alumni and their guests gather to network, socialize and discuss issues surrounding race or their experiences in Dialogue. Happy Hour is a great chance to meet alumni from other series.
